Privacy Policy

• Account details — name, email address and (optionally) your mobile number.
• Bookings — tee times, number of players, holes played and payment references. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our database.
• Scores and rounds — your scorecards, notes, any photos you upload, badges and leaderboard position.
• Reviews and reports — feedback you submit and any course damage you report.
• Live location — only if you switch on location sharing during a round (off by default).
• Essential technical data — a sign-in session cookie and local storage. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.

• Contract — to take your booking, confirm it, take payment and let you check in.
• Consent — SMS messages, marketing emails and live location sharing. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interests — keeping the course safe and well maintained, preventing fraud and improving the experience.
• Legal obligation — keeping financial records for tax purposes.

Only the processors we need to run the service:

• Stripe — payments
• Twilio — booking and check-in SMS (if you opt in)
• Email provider — booking confirmations and review requests
• Google — sign-in with Google, maps, and Google reviews you choose to post
• Lovable Cloud (Supabase) — hosting and database, stored in the EU

We never sell your data or pass it to advertisers.

The course map can show staff where players are so we can pace the course and reach you in an emergency. This is off by default. If you turn it on we store a single current position for you, visible only to course staff, and it is automatically deleted within 24 hours — sooner when your round ends. You can turn it off any time in the app under Account.

• Live location pings — deleted automatically after 24 hours.
• Bookings and payment records — 6 years (UK tax requirement), anonymised if you delete your account.
• Scores, badges and reviews — until you delete your account.
• Dormant accounts — automatically anonymised after 3 years of inactivity.

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and object to processing. In the app you can do the two most common ones yourself, instantly:

• Download my data — a full JSON export from your account page.
• Delete my account — removes your personal details; bookings stay as anonymous financial records.

We use essential cookies and local storage only — enough to keep you signed in and remember your booking basket. There are no advertising or third-party analytics cookies, so there is nothing to consent to.
